Even though we grew up with the ocean in our backyard, sunrises and sunsets at the beach have never lost their magic. For Doug Good Feather, these ephemeral moments act as a spirit door, where windows open for ancestors to visit. We’re proud that the craftsmanship of our Adirondack Blankets — custom-woven on looms using long-staple cotton yarns — do justice to the stunning color palette of his artwork while maintaining a soft, time-worn feel. Artist, veteran, author, and teacher, Doug Good Feather is from the Standing Rock Lakota and Dakota Nation and is the founder of the Lakota Way Healing Center. Our ongoing partnership has enabled the Center to purchase 100+ acres of land and expand its ability to offer Indigenous spiritual practices to anyone in need of healing.
